ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

To be eligible for admission in the LL.B-3 Yrs. Degree Program, the Candidate should:
  • • Have passed Graduation (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline of a recognized College/University, having secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General Category & 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category.
  • • Candidates appearing/appeared for the Annual Examination in March/April are also eligible to apply.
  • • Age of the candidate should be as per C.C.S. University and Bar Council of India.

LL.B. is a 3-year full-time undergraduate law program designed for students who have already completed graduation in any discipline. It covers the core legal subjects including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Contract Law, etc.

2. How is the LL.B. course structured?Arrow

The course is spread over six semesters, blending theoretical legal knowledge with practical training such as moot courts, internships, and legal aid activities.

3. What is the difference between LL.B. and integrated law courses like B.A. LL.B./B.Com. LL.B.?Arrow

LL.B. is pursued after graduation in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce). Integrated courses are 5-year programs pursued after 10+2.

4. Who is eligible to apply for the LL.B. course?Arrow

Any candidate who has completed a bachelor’s degree (in any stream) with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) is eligible.

5. Is there any entrance exam for LL.B. admission?Arrow

Admissions are primarily merit-based as per CCS University norms. However, candidates may receive added weightage for performance in CLAT/LSAT or equivalent exams.

6. Is there any age limit to apply for LL.B.?Arrow

No. As per current Bar Council of India (BCI) guidelines, there is no upper age limit for pursuing LL.B.

7. Is the LL.B. program approved and recognized?Arrow

Yes. The course is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut.

8. Will I be eligible to practice law after completing this course?Arrow

Yes. After completing LL.B., you can enrol with the Bar Council of your state and appear in the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE) to become a licensed advocate.
