Lok Adalat Visit

The Innovative Institute of Law, under the Innovative Group of Colleges, organized a Lok Adalat Visit on 13 September 2025 to provide students with practical exposure to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. During the visit, students observed the conciliation-based approach used to settle cases swiftly and amicably. They witnessed how mediators and panel members facilitated dialogue between parties to reach mutually acceptable solutions. The visit also familiarized students with the types of cases handled in Lok Adalats, such as matrimonial issues, traffic matters, and minor civil disputes. Faculty members guided students in understanding the importance of ADR in reducing court backlog and promoting accessible justice. The experience strengthened students’ knowledge of negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution techniques. Overall, the visit proved educational, insightful, and aligned with the Institute’s commitment to experiential legal learning.
